I went with the H&S MiniMaxx and the H&S Turbo-back exhaust system with DPF Delete. It seemed the best way to go. I'll find out, in a few months, how it does.
I'm going to run a DPF delete. I've read that is a big stick in the side on the 6.4L. My truck got 22MPG driving it home from the dealer so, I'm thinking with DPF, a tune, meth injection, intake and exhaust...I should be able to squeeze out close to 30 hwy.
It looks as if this guy is only in CA and GA. With being in VA and moving to CO soon, that's not feasible. But thanks, CaFordDude!I'm just looking for a good programmer with the basics. The two previously mentioned seemed to be the top of the line...I just wanted to get some user opinions...
I'm looking at tuners for my truck. H&S and Edge seem to be the better ones. What do you guys thing of the H&S Black Maxx versus the Edge Juice with Attitude?
I just bought a 2010 F-350. First drive, I got 22mpg's on the highway. The great thing about diesel is that they're versatile in performance. Throw a couple of bolt-ons on the motor and plug up a programmer and you get a few easy extra MPG's.
Sounds good!I did some more digging around and found that CO Springs area doesn't do emissions testing anymore. So, I should be good to go. Thanks guys!
Good to know, Fellro. With that said, would a DPF Delete pipe make a noticeable difference in the exhaust output? Meaning, without looking at the exhaust, will it raise a big flag at the police?
XDP.com is a great place to start with performance mods. I would recommend starting with an intake and exhaust and maybe a programmer. I always start with performance before moving on to aesthetics.Sorry to hear about your friend. My condolences. Where in Afghan are you? I'm in Herat...
I'm going to CO Springs. I lived in Denver for 5 months, about 10 years ago. I vaguely remember seeing emissions testing shops for inspections. I'm not sure it the Springs does it though. I guess, worse comes to worse, I can put the factory pipe back on for inspections than swap it back out for...
Is there anyone in CO that can advise me to the local laws and regulations for emissions? I'm moving to CO soon. I want to DPF Delete my F-350 but I don't know if it will pass emission inspections and testing. Can any one advise?
I just bought my first ever Ford. I've always been a die hard Chevy fan. I put in the time, did some research and found that I could get more bang for my buck with a Ford. I've never had anything against Ford, from a mechanical perspective. It was always just one of those things. I gave in and...
