    I had this very problem on my 1996 F-250. I changed the whole column; I found this to be easier. Too much info to explain if you want more input, call me @ 570-396-6889. This is my cell #.

    dont know if you fixed it yet but I had to replace my valve cover gasgets, which have the pass through connectors in them. Before replacement sounded like i was running on 6 instead of 8. Could also be injector harness inside cover, be carefull if you go in messing around because the connector...

    yes, there is oil all over from the back of engine, down the bell housing, and has half of the under carriage under-coated ---- good rust prevention

  10. When to plug it in?

    I used to have mine on a timer and set it for a 4 to 5 hr run each morning, depending on temp. I have also had it plugged in for over 14 hours and no troubles

    Have a 96' F250. Oil seems to run down the rear of the engine from the top. Is this turbo seals, oil line or something else
