Ways to help bring in more members and attract new activity

Seeing how things are playing out, probably a better task to focus on for now would be to encourage the engagement and retention of what looks to be a dwindling community of a few members. Don't worry about YT, FB, etc, etc, focus on behaviors and actions right here.

    My poor truck

^^^ Your patience and determination are impressive, I know it's just a matter of time until you figure out what's wrong and fix it. :)

    Sand in carburetor?

I can't help but wonder if what you are calling sand is actually rust from the inside of the (steel) fuel tank...

Truck For Sale Price reduction!! 1994 Ford F-250 XL (77k Miles) Must See - $9,950

A/C clutch is broken, ref engine pic in listing. That's a $3,769 deduct from the price, and since A/C is practically a life requirement in Y2021, the truck is uninhabitable and thus, undriveable.

    1991 F-250 Plow Truck Questions (351 v8 to 302 v8)

As always, ask questions in public, expect feedback from the public. Should one not resist reviewing it, they're invited to use the ignore feature to cure that one. And on that note, Happy Easter to you and yours, have an awesome day!!!

3G Alternator Generating too many volts

Gurgling at Shutdown from Heater Core

Thanks, but no need. Any vehicle work ever needed here is done by an experienced owner that can get it done right the first time. On the rare occasion that special tools/equipment are required, the job is farmed out to a qualified, experienced, demonstrated and proven professional who...

    1992 F-150 Serpentine Problems

^^^ With all due regards, no big surprise. Internet is saturated with "the desired answer". +, hydroplaning on the front axle, where the steering and ~80% of the braking of a vehicle are done is wayyy over rated, best to run skins up there. ;)----Understanding how things work, being able...

    1992 F-150 Serpentine Problems

Bingo. But at the end of the day, I'd bet a C-note as to what axle wears the new shoes. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it.

    1992 F-150 Serpentine Problems

Best tires always belong in front and not the back; first reason being, these are the tires that are used when steering the vehicle. Add to the list of reasons, less probability of a blowout, in particular, at speed.

Mechanic needed in NC (1970 F-250)

^^^ Sounds more like you're needing a shop to do a restoration, albeit with limitations so as to keep the cost in line. Something else to keep in your back pocket....old vehicles with unknown history and lots of miles do of course, have a higher probability of things failing than the opposite...

    1992 F-150 Serpentine Problems

One really essential life skill is being able to identify, screen and hire the best man/men for a job/team effort. Not only in our professional careers, but in our personal lives as well. This because, who one picks to do a job can absolutely make or break you, and liking a hire is fine, but...

    Feelin' a little shaky

Concur with the possibility of a warped rotor. Depending on how the BJ is loaded by the spring, you may not be able to make a wear determination simply by pushing/pulling with your hands; this is usually true if the spring force presses upon the BJ. In this case, a long steel pry bar is used to...
