Is it true you have to remove the radiator to replce this belt? Also, is there a special tool to release the tension pulley to replace the alternator?
Bert
Feel at the bottom of the tensioner. There is a little "flap" of metal. Having someone pull on the belt (toward the fender) at the same time, you push the "flap" under the catch. Radiator does not need to be removed, but the shroud needs to go.

Pull the cooling fan and shroud. Couple of clips and one? connector that need to be popped out, and the P/S reservoir slid off the shroud.

Radiatorr doesn't need to come out. But to make life easier the shroud should. IF you want to make it real easy pull the fan and fan stator support out then you'll be right there.

I did it in my driveway without pulling anything off it took a litle time to fish it thur. Release the tensioner that it.
