I have just purchased a 1943 Ford Fire Truck. I have a VIN# but I tried to run a VIN search and can not come up with any information. Any suggestions

First off, welcome to FTF!

I can't answer that question, but I'm sure one of the old F-series truck owners might be able to.

Go to ford truck enthusiast, then go to the class for 1948-1960 &
ask for "NUMBER DUMMY" he worked for ford for years in the parts
he knows everything & i do mean everything about fords,he will be
glad to help you out,those guys are great & willing to help
