question about posting PDF files to gallery

Can someone tell me why the gallery doen't accept PDF format for posting to the gallery?

I scanned 18 pictures to my gallery tonight, and the default format on the scanner was IMG/PDF. I had to change the format to JPG, and rescan all the pictures. Just curious why this is so.

Scott, I tried it, but i get an error message saying the picture size must be at least 15 X 15. The file size is 780 KB?

Well, a PDF is not an 'image' which is why the gallery isn't taking it. PDF's are downloadable files that will come up in programs like Acrobat Reader. When the user downloads your PDF, they'll only be able to view it through a program like this - not our gallery.

Thanks, Ryan. I get confused with the acronyms. The file has the Adobe picture next to it, but it is listed as an IMG file. Does that make any difference.
