I'd like some help to figure out how to fix my 1981 F-250 351M.
I don't know the name of the part I'm trying to replace or how to do it.
I have attempted to replace my water pump and found that there is a plate behind it with a gasket behind that needs to be replaced. I can't seem to figure out how to get the plate off. What is it called and how could I do it?

Good morning. Sorry I'm late to the party, mulch season, and I have 2 dump trailers on the road sun up to sun down.
the plate is your timing chain cover. here is a youtube on a 351c, which is a similar block to yours. Hope it helps, I could do a write up, but seeing it will help you better
