Battery Isolator

Where Battery Isolators factory? Does anyone have a diagram of how one is hooked up? I have one on my 75 which isn't hooked up. I don't know if I'd ever use it or not, but just want the info in case I do.

Yes on the camper specials I believe, I think you might have been able to order it stand alone as well, but I might be wrong about that.
From what I have read on the manuals/drawings I have there is a solenoid that is activated by the ignition to charge the auxiliary battery as well as relays for trailer lighting.
I can go check the detailed wiring diagrams I have if you want...let me know.

Thanks for the diagrams guys. Would it even be practical to run a dual battery setup anyway?

Only if you have a camper/trailer, a power demanding sound system or an Inverter.
