Nothing earth shattering here but I thought it interesting that this one went down due to a rocker arm.?

I've had a few rocker arms come off, but its usually due to other underlying problems.

The more I read the more I agree with you that the root cause of most problems with this engine are due too poor fuel.

The 6.4 is even more sensitive to fuel quality. From what I understand, the 6.7 on the horizon will be more forgiving. It'll accept up to b20 bio diesel too.

Funny, mine turned over 5K RPM's on the track and never let a rocker arm off. There's a HUGE hole in the bottom and side, but that was just from the pistons. ROFLMAO The only underlying problem mine had was the dumb a$$ operator.
