Wente's in Chesterfield has really good burgers and pizzas.
Lester's (Two in St. Louis area) has good barbecue and other meat, it's a bit pricey though
Chicago Bros. Pizza in Osage Beach they have have good pizza and lasagna
Imo's Pizza in Osage Beach, it's the only one I know of that has the lunch buffet
Pi Pizza (3 Locations in St. Louis) good specialty pizza

Rise 'n' Dine in Arnold. Good breakfast food with good size portions.
Bellacino's Pizza. A couple of locations in the St. Louis area I believe.

I've never been there but have heard of it, looked on their website and it looks like it is a good deal for what you get.

if anyone is ever in the kansas city area, especially the north kansas city area, i would suggest "cascone's". they are an italian restaurant, but have the best steaks in kansas city. seriously.
"pizza shoppe" for thin crust pizza
if you are ever in sikeston or springfield "lamberts cafe" is good too.
