Hello to all here on FTF, i am a Nevada resident, Henderson to be precise. i am the cargiver for a C 700 Dry Van, that our High school marching Band will use to transport music equipment to competition. i have had many a Ford in the past and presently drive a 01 Escape V6 4x4. my corral of Fords include; 1962 Ranchero, 1985 F250 diesel, 1979 F150 longbed extended cab,
a 1991 F150 4x4[on GUAM]; also several sedan; 1960 Ford[no model]had two of these second one was a stationwagon ,1965 500, and a 67 Mustang. now don't jump to conclusions if i got some data out of order or wrong, i'm no spring chicken, my first car was a 1955 Studebaker Commander, and that was in 1965, so my memory is in need of a tuneup.

1973 C 700

with a 361 c.i. V8 5 speed tranny and 2 speed Eaton rearend. does any bloggers here have knowledge of the smog system? i have a "Hot and Cold" air cleaner and havent figured out where the nipple on top of the oil bath lid is suppose to attach. i have PCV connection to right and left valve covers

Welcome. Unfortunately can't answer right off, I should look at my 71 F600 to get clues. It had a carb fire before I got it, so might not be intact... Not a lot of emissions back then, mostly just the PCV and a hose to the air cleaner.
