I had a set of the Cooper AT3 tires (introduced in 2011) installed on the "Not-Ford". It seems to be a good all around tire, scoring relatively high in ALL categories. Since we live so far from the nearest stagecoach station, I wanted some good tires that would perform well in all applications. After a 1400 mile road trip, including snow, ice, dry, and stupid drivers, and some mild offroading in the snow, I am happy with them. The noise only becomes obvious when driving on concrete, which isn't much around here.
I also put a pair on the back of the truck.
We will see how they hold out mileage-wise.
