Dip Stick question

I finally got my rear sump oil pan and pickup tube dirt cheap.Question is when the dip stick is all the way in it only stick out the bottom of the tube about 3/4 of a inch.Is that right or does it have the wrong dip stick with it?And are the rear sump pans still a 5qt oil pan?Thanks alot guys

From what I've read in the spec manuals etc, it would seem they are the same size.

You have the dipstick for a front sump.

Try one from an E-series engine
