Distributor Oil leak

I can't get oil to stop coming from around distributor area on my 429. What can I do or try.

Unfortunately it requires pulling the distributor out, replacing the o-ring seal, then putting back and re-timing. The oil pump shaft is a hex bar that goes into the bottom of the distributor and also needs to align back into the distributor. They can sometimes be stuck in the distributor and lift with it, but not come out with them and potentially not go back into the oil pump.

I have already had distributor out and put back in a few times it is still leaking it is a new distributor.

Are you certain it is coming from the distributor?

Almost positive or is that even possible

It also could be coming from the front intake to block seal area.
