distributor rotor

Can someone give me an idea of what causes distributor rotors to crack and brack? 1966 F100 with 352 engine. We have gone through 3 rotors within 3 months. Thanks

If you have the correct cap and rotor my guess is the shaft on the dizzy is worn and letting the rotor wobble. Sounds like a new dizzy is in order.

Randy, a new distributor is on order. I'm guessing a dizzy is a distributor.

Yeah a dizzy is a distributor. That's what everyone around this area calls them.
