Walmart also won't very from the size spec inside the door on tires I try not to buy any thin at all from there
I'm finding that to be the case with alot of places...hence the reason I'm bringing everything in loose. I'm going from a 225/50/17 to a 215/55/17...which is a difference of less than a .5" up in height and less than a .5" narrower. But what it did allow me to do is get the compound and speed rating I wanted for $40 less per tire than the OEM size. And now I have a tire rated for 75k instead of 50-60k.
