First the truck is running just fine.
The other day while I was driving to work my low fuel light and bell came on and fuel gauge was on the low stop ( below empty).
The tank was full, just fill it. 46 gal tank. A few minutes later the light goes out and the gauge is back at full. So the question is what happen and what it going to take to fix.
1. Replace the whole unit. not cheep.
2. Don't fill tank to full. To avoid bad spot on sender.
3. Disconnect sender from tank and use my Scan-gauge to monitor level.
4. Can the sender resister be replace. If that is the problem.
5. I hate crawling under the truck.
6. Any kind of test I can do with out removing the tank.
