OK, guys...need some advice here.
In September, I'm going to a wedding in Brooklyn.
Wedding is Saturday, we've got a hotel Friday and Saturday nights, somewhere in Brooklyn (the whole family is going to stay in the same hotel). Dad is looking into whether there's parking at the hotel (or a garage nearby they recommend), and if there is, I'll probably just drive there.
If not, though, I'm wondering where would be a good place to ditch the pickup and hop on a subway/train. If it were in Boston, I'd park at Alewife (just outside the city, sort of affordable parking, but close enough to get on the "T"), but I don't know the NYC area at all. I'll be driving in by way of Schenectady, whatever road it is that goes that way. (Haven't looked at a map recently).
