Instrument cluster not working

I recently dug a 1972 Ranger XLT out of the barn. The mice had got into the headliner but didn’t appear to be anywhere else. Everything on the truck works except the instrument cluster itself. The headlight Brite indicator light is the only light on the instrument cluster that works. None of the gauges work. I’ve had it out and looked at it, but didn’t know what else to look for other than of bare wire. Does not appear to be chewed on anywhere that I can see. Any ideas on how to Check or what might be wrong?

A simple bad ground can cause lack of lights and electrical gauges.

Typically in the harness, however a test jumper won't hurt as long as it is only on the ground side.
