Well, its that time. New web based classes are out for the 6.7. Gotta wait till I can do them at work (they don't like dial-up)
I can tell you that the 6.7 has a 4.25" stroke, 3.90" bore.silly question out of the blue...
How long is a stroke on the 6.0, 6.4, and the new 6.7?
Ryan
Nope, just pictures. I just hope we wont have the same mess that we did on the 6.0 (trucks on the lot with no training yet)Have you seen/worked on a 6.7 yet? I haven't paid any attention to 'em at all, so I don't know if they're out yet or not...
Just thinking that it's a whole lot easier to understand what they're trying to tell you if you've seen one before...
HMMMMM.....Interesting.......the valve covers are the intake manifolds.
nope! remember, its reverse flow (the exhaust ports are top center)whaaat. Is it just one huge plenum?
Ryan
theres a different turbo for the pickups and the chassis cabs.
the pickup has the "dual" turbo, the chassis cab has a single vgt with a wastgate. Is there any advantage from one to another?
The intake ports are where the exhaust ports would normally be. Like I said, the valve covers house the intake passages.wow, now i am really intruiged vince... Explain this reverse flow to me, where is the intake if the exhaust is in the center. Intake on the out side of the heads? Make for an interesting exhaust routing i would think.
Just looks like valve covers.......one each side.So what does the actual intake look like?
Is there a seperate intake for either bank?
One filter element in front of the pass battery. CAC is water cooled.interesting...
Separate filter elements and intake housing as well?
You got an engine pic diagram by chance vince?
