I have an electric impact wrench that I want to be able to use for removing my lug nuts on my wheels, problem is I am worried it will scratch up the sockets too much. Do they make some sort of socket that has a protective plastic like nylon to help insulate the lug nut while its being turned from being scratched and dinged up?

i use standard air impact guns on the metal jacketed lug nuts, doesnt bother them, most times you get cracks from over tightening.

There r one with a liner in the. where to get I dont know? Snapon?

I dont have trouble with mine but I always tighten by hand as the more tight the more abuse the lugs will get coming off.
