Transmission identification

Have two manuals, one I'm using in my '68 the other is one that my grandpa and I never could figure out..

First one is the one I'm using, top loader out of an early '80's Econoline. Ford numbers and markings along with ORION cast into the front left of the housing.




Second is the unknown, also a top loader. No clue what it is or what it came out of.

I think that "orion" one was some sort of a modified one that was real light duty...I can't remember but I think they were trying to make an OD unit.

That I do know, known a couple of them behind healthy 390s that did wonderful, just can't beat on them. I've found some information elsewhere but figured it'd be nice to have more information and havof it here...
