I found this tag wedged between the glove box door and the cover that fits over the door. Can somebody tell me what piece of equipment this would have come from?

The numbers are :

85
D7TE
12127
AMA
8A 14

Thanks guys,

Tim, the carburetor still has a tag on it, but I don't know how many carburetors the truck has had.

Don, it doesn't match anything on the door tags, either.

Since 9510 is the basic number for a carburetor, and...

D7TE-6015-AB, AB1, AB2 is the bare block casting number for a 351M as installed in a 1977/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco...

This ID number has nothing to do with either.

Ford ID number: D7TE-12127-AMA = Ford part number: D7TZ12127AM .. Distributor Assy. (Motorcraft DA1654)

8A14 = Assembled January 14, 1978 / 85 is the code for the assembly plant.

Fits: 1977/79 F100/350 & 1978/79 Bronco 351M except CA.

Ford parts catalogs since day one: Fuel related parts are in the 9000 group, ignition related parts are in the 12000 group, engine related parts are in the 6000 group.
