what axle do i have?

i have a 2004 f250 lariat 4x4... i am trying to figure out what axle is in the rear end... is it is it the ford 10.5 inch axle, the dana 80, or the dana 135? i cant find it in the haynes book. how can i figure this out... i am trying to find this out so i can change the fluid

Should be a Sterling 10.5" axle. Dana 80's only came in F350's.
 
Agree with polarbear. Check the tag on the rear....usually a metal tag held by one of the rear cover bolts. It will give you specifics. If you don't have that then google.....I distinctly remember a link somewhere that gives a pic of each rear so you can identify by the bolt pattern. If you have a diesel and its automatic then it is definately a torqueshift. I can't imagine what else you might have if it is gas. Not aware of Ford doing something different.
