Hey everyone, how you all doing? I've been pretty busy the past few weeks gutting out my front end of the rig. I bought an ORU shackle reversal kit, and have been picking away at it between school and work. I decided to go right thru it the right way and put all new polyurethane bushings in...
But do you suppose that may make me look weird if i do decide to bring it back to get the filter changed? The way I like it done is drop the pan, and have a continuous flow of fluid through the lines while shifting through the gears and all the fluid from behind the torque converter get pushed...
I brought my dads 1999 F150 into the dealer today to have the transmission fluid changed. I was sold the "transmission" service for $200. Now for some reason, I wasn't all on my game today, because I completely forgot to ask them if that service included a pan drop, cleaning, and filter...
I dunno, I dont exactly agree with that. I think our trucks look great with a 285 or 305 with a stock suspension, but i think they look like a shoe without a lift to give it some sort of agility, i just don't like a stuffed fender look to much, I like some gap, dont get me wrong, ur guy's trucks...
Hey guys, I am going to be lifting my F350 with a 4" inch lift and putting 35 inch tires on, but I want to see some pictures of guys f350s lifted to help give me a clearer vision on what it will look like!Thank you
Thats a cool idea too, maybe leave the bottom half or upper half chrome and the make the opposite side black, I just dont like all the chrome, the truck looks weird now that I have it mostly black, the panel doesn't anymore
Thanks Chris, Yeah I dunno still, I am going to keep it this way for another week, and then put the panel back on so I can get a true feel for what I like better.
I wanted to take some videos of how I thought the truck looked, and I really am in love with the look, now I just need to finish it off and get the black tailgate handle, and I want to get a F350 all chrome emblem like F350XL's on the rear tailgate. Here's the links to that videos if you guys...
I love that truck. I think what I am going to do is as follow. I think I am going to get the panel powder coated, and reinstall it, it will be all black. I think I will put a F350 emblem in the tailgate to help it match the chrome handle and tips like countryboy said
As some of you have scene, there are a few areas of my truck that are still in need of possible chrome over to black conversion. I removed the step sides today and those are definitely getting powder coated, but now i must know if i should get my rear chrome panel powder coated. I have a picture...

Yea its very time consuming, I still dont know why I really got into this job, it wasn't needing to bad, but it was rusty enough that it bothered me enough to get motivated to attack the job. There were things about the job I wasnt expecting to have to do, but o well, I am glad its wrapping up...

I think I am good now, I bought that set from summit racing, I guess I will do all the other cab mounts while I am at it. Everything is coming together nicely again. I got the new radiator in and everything all tightened down with new hardware, just waiting for those bushings and then I can get...
Can I use cab mount bushings for the radiator? Such as these?http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=ENS%2D4%2D4107R&N=700+4294924755+4294908331+4294908308+4294925130+4294839050+4294881579+4294907043+4294905283+115&autoview=skuor...
