352/360 oil pressure problem

The rods are knockin or the lifters/rockers?

rods for sure... also discovered hairline cracks on outside of block from freeze plug holes to motor mount lugs

Well when it rains it pours. Sounds like ya got the same kinda luck I do. Sorry ya had to drop the pan to find out ya got a rod knock and your blocks cracked.

oh well... it still runs great and i am gonna milk it for as long as i safely can

Thats what id do if it blows up and throws a rod then its time for a new motor.

If it's just temporary like you say, some STP would work wonders...

it's got 15-40 witha quart of slick 50 in it now. when the engine settles at a steady rpm, the rods hammer but if you are accelerating or decellerating no hammering.
