Lifters came in. Ill have the top end finished on Thursday if all goes well. No updates today.

Pickup bolted on


FRPP 1 piece oil pan gasket


The problem with the 1pc gaskets with the steel core is that all the holes are 1/4 and its really difficult to enlarge the 4- 5/16" bolt holes without screwing up the gasket.

LEBs solution 5/16x1/4 stainless studs


Fits real nice


Canton 7qt pan with internal baffles


Tap the little half moon key in and smoke a cigar while you make balancer soup


Cook on high for 20min, stirring occasionally.


Slide it on.


Slather some anti-seize on both sides of the spacer and slap it on


Bolt on the pulley


New crank bolt - 5/8x2 fine thread grade 8


MSD timing tape





Lifters, pushrods and roller rockers ready to go.


Autolite 3934s gapped to .040


Respect the valve covers!


All done - The headers are 2" primary 3.5" collector Mad dogs with Jethot 2000* crinkle black coating.








3g alternator fuse block. The mock up alternator is not 3g.


Spacer required to make it all line up

I guess my only selling point is I understand the hot/cold numbers on the Autolites
