All right, lets hear about the moment you got the Ford bug. Mine was some time during the time when there was Mustangs falling in my lap constantly. Bought a 67, 4 speed, 390 for 200 bucks---a 66 and 68 both for 150. I've been Ford biased ever since!

I grew up in a Ford family. Some may argue that I never actually grew up, but you catch the drift. :D

I have to say i was hard-core Dodge till I bought this 02 then it was all over for me....

At age 14 I bought my first car with my paper route money. After a learning experience (It was a GM product), I traded it for a ford at age 16.

I have owned a ford (or fords) since. I did own one foreign car (Audi) for a while though. I loved that car, but parts were $$$$$.

My parents have owned every brand under the sun including some foreign ones. :headbang:

Grew up in a Ford truck family. Dad always owned Ford trucks and if I had bought anything different I would have really caught hell from him and my brother; doesn't matter anyway since I have always loved Ford trucks. I remember my dad used to work a lot on cars but he never seemed to be working on his truck, guess that's a sign that he never had problems with any of them ;) Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago, before he got to see my current truck. But I know he'd be proud.

Just grew up always wanting a 92-96 body style ford truck... Always told dad I wanted one. He brought home the 94 when I was 15 or so and drove it for a year and a half before my car was wrecked and I bought it from him. Love it! The intermediate vehicles were and aerostar (helped confirm my ford bug) and a chevy cheyenne (also helped confirm my ford bug)

Dad's first work truck was an F-150 and I loved the way it looked. I got a 94 Ranger after high school and it's been Ford's ever since.

It was Oct of 2000. My gret gpa died and i got his 78 F-250 he bought new. 72k miles. And its been uphill since. Ive now got the 79CC and a 99 ranger adn my new project is a 78 F-250 supercab. And i still got pappys 78.

First Ford truck around here was a 79 extended cab 4x4 250. Kept tearing motors out of it (400) so it got traded off on the 84 250 diesel 4x4 extended cab that still is here, on the slate to get prettied up a bit, as well as some powertrain work, since maintenance isn't one of my dad's better aspects... I now have an 86 250 that works very hard, even impressing my die hard Chevy friend...

Dad's never owned anything but a Ford (he's loyal to the dealership more than the brand, I think, but the point remains), so I grew up riding in Escorts and Fiestas...

I was a Ford guy before, but there are two Ford trucks that cemented my loyalty- one is in my sig (it's never made me walk, and I still trust it enough that I put over 800 miles on it Labor Day weekend, pulling a trailer) and the other is a friend's '95 PSD- I was sitting in the passenger seat as it turned over 300k on the original powertrain (except the clutch) pulling somewhere near 15k...on a 100* day...headed for Wolf Creek Pass...

EDIT: One of my good friends is a die-hard Chevy guy. We go back and forth for fun, but honestly, I've developed a certain respect for that brand, too- you can't know as much as he does and be flat wrong. Don't get me started on imported trucks, though. And I'd drive a Toyota with a manual transmission over a Ford with an automatic any day.

I remember when I was 7 and my dad had three car dealerships around the KC area. Two Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge's and one AMC/Jeep. Funny thing though, he always drove a Lincoln! Even to the dealer meetings!!

First Ford's I fell in love with were two '56 T-Birds a guy gave dad to repay a debt. One was bright red with a white top and the other was a rust color with black top. They were SO hot!! I was too young to drive and he sold them off before I was even close.

My first few cars weren't Fords, but since I wasn't paying for them and didn't have much choice, what could I do. I worked for my folks but wasn't getting a pay check. They kept an account for me to "teach" me how to deal with money. To this day, I spend money I ain't got. Teaching didn't work!

Anyway, the first vehicle I got to really pick was my '96 F-250 LD Reg cab. After driving it for 8 years, I wanted something newer so I tried with all my might to blow that truck up. Two years later, it was still running, but I finally got my new company truck. :) one and a half years later, I blew it up! ROFLMAO Still waitin' to get my baby back! I LOVE my 2006 6.0L!!

I've grown up like Tony, Ford Family along with the notion of Ryan and wanting the '92-'96 F-Series however I like the '80-'86 as well, not much for the square nose of the middle child. I've got my '93 F-150, an '86 F-250 Oil burner, and an '84 Bronco.

I've got four Fords, along with a couple Mazda's and on Yota (I prefer the '89-'94-5 Toyota P/U over the Ranger, sorry).

They're stupidly expensive up here, right up until the day they actually crumble before your eyes because they're so rusty. Great drivetrains, though.
