Let me think about it.............. Ok, NO:rolling laugh:I still don't think I could do it.If I were smart I'd pull it off and find someone to reproduce it.............Wait, if I did that then it wouldn't be a unique look anymore. Scratch that idea.
Nope, that blue and white 77 is not a Lariat. Lariat's didn't come out until 78. It is however priced right for what it is. That body would make a great 4wd swap candidate.
Wishful thinking.

One of the best shortbeds that I've seen on ebay in a long time. Considering you want a shortbed it was only available in a half ton configuration. Aside from the fact they drilled into the bed for that cover I don't see much else wrong with it and think it is worth his BIN price...
If money is an issue then go with an aluminum but be aware that the OE gasket is going to need cutting and is really going to suck once it is installed. I tried one of those aluminum cores and cut my gasket and tried to make it work. I finally gave up and searched my $$$ off to find a brass core...
The OE rubber gasket fits like crap and from what I've heard they don't heat very well. Here is an OE style brass core, these are getting harder and harder to find as all the manufacturers are changing over to aluminum.Ignore the "without A/C" crap, it is the right core...
And the cowl badge says Ranger while the glovebox says Custom. And since when did a paint job designate "restoration"? The engine compartment and frame look like chit!
Yes it is a sad day but you should see the free space that opened up in my garage now!! That old 47 IH wont take up near the space this truck did. The new powerstroke is going to get a workout dragging this thing down there. Been tempted to pull it down with my motorhome, fuel mileage wont be...
I've been thinking that I might of sold it to cheap considering it didn't make 4 days. Maybe I should of ebay'd it?As for now the Bronco is staying. I currently have no plans at all to sell it but I'll let you know when I do.Not that I want another project but for a change of pace I think...
Yes it was open trailer from Cali to here but it was all in one piece. I wouldn't trust it on an open trailer now. A lot of the trim would need to go in the bed.I got a message over at FTE from a guy in Decatur Al that is very interested in it but I would need to deliver it to him as well...
Oh I think it will. If it doesn't I will finish it.No I don't think it will. Talked with a guy today who has a nice collection and he is giving it some serious thought.Where do you live at Ken? I have a nice enclosed trailer and 350 I can tow it with.
You say Crap in a good way, I can hear it in your voice! It is running but I still need to dial in the shims for the rocker arm. There is an ever so slight pop and I think it is just a matter of getting the proper clearances. This will be addressed before the truck would leave my possession...
Most of you have seen the build thread. Things came up, truck needs to go. Build thread is here: http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2130178500 as it sits.
Thanks Doug. My reply below will answer my problem. That is the problem. My stash of NOS stuff is running low. Right now all I pretty much have left is a few factory CB systems, some trim and a spare set of Lariat black and silver door panels. It'd be hard to build another Bronco to the...
